I must confess that I’ve never really been a watch person.

First off, I can’t really even tell time on them… all of those tiny, little tick marks run together making it impossible to tell accurate time (this is according to me). Other watches I’ve seen only have a couple numbers on them, which helps SLIGHTLY and some of the most beautiful watches have absolutely NOTHING on the face! No numbers, no tick marks… Nada. I mean, trying to read something like this, your very best approximation could be off by several hours (again this is according to me).

Anyways, that’s enough of me burdening you with my own personal struggles of not being able to tell time properly at almost 30 years old…But against my better judgment, I’ve decided to purchase my first adult wristwatch. I won’t really be using it to tell time though; I have my iPhone for that, duh! So I’m in the clear from making a fool of myself. I’m basically buying it because they look amazing and I feel like it will help me look more adult-ish!

I just couldn’t pass up that gorgeous blush; leather band of #1 and it has plenty of tick marks! If I can’t tell time on that, there is no hope for me! Hello! Oh, don’t mind me, I’m just attempting to model this incredibly beautiful top. No big deal. Once you get past my extremely stiff posture and the completely blank expression on my face, please take look at this great blouse I ordered online from Zara! When I was browsing through their site a few weeks ago, this top really caught my eye (check out my Zara Edition Wishlist Post to see more of my top picks!). I am LOVING that tie front detail! It adds a lot of interest to its rather boxy shape (I am a HUGE fan of that shape!). And the embellished neckline! Perfecto! No need to wear any necklace with this pretty lady, the jeweled embellishments do the work for you. You can see, I really didn’t get too accessory crazy, just some simple earrings and a couple of my favorite rings. Anyways, I’m thrilled with my new purchase. Its a great trendy, yet classic piece to add into anyone’s wardrobe. Suitable for work too! I paired it with white jeans, but it really is super versatile and could be paired with almost any bottoms. Summer Wish List: ZARA Edition

Is it just me, or is Zara seriously on point right now?! These are just a few of the items I’m currently lusting over… the list could go on forever! I’m loving the mix of current trends… they’ve got tropical, embellished, ruffles, cold shoulder, embroidery, basically they have all of the bases covered. And the colors! Super bright and fun! I’ve already placed my order for number 3! I’ll be sporting that to the office as soon at that baby gets delivered! I failed to mention that I have to order everything online from Zara because the closest brick and mortar store is over 300 miles from me 😦 ! But that’s life living in Arkansas for ya. Anyways, I’m lovin’ these adorable summer looks and the best part is that all items listed are under $50! Hooray!!
